Office Manager and Bookkeeper – Ascendo Resources (Oldsmar)

Ascendo Resources is working with a manufacturing company in Oldsmar that is in need of a Office Manager/Bookkeeper to join there team immediately! Below are the responsibilities for this position.

  • Submit all deposits. Create and post all incoming ACH deposits, incoming wires and outgoing wires.
  • Enter all invoices and process checks.
  • Communicate with vendors/customers on issues with invoices/bills
  • Reconcile all company Bank Statements
  • Review General Ledger each month for posting discrepancies. Make adjustments, if needed
  • Create all documentation and stickers for shipping products
  • Collect time-sheets, calculate time, prepare documentation and submit payroll each week
  • File yearly OSHA reports and documentation
  • Create and submit 1099’s
  • Submit Personal Property Tax and Real Estate Tax forms before deadlines
  • Report sales tax on monthly and yearly basis for all companies
  • Prepare monthly and yearly inventory reports and post any adjustments to QB
  • Prepare and review all financials and make any adjustments for tax returns
  • Communicate with bank regarding monthly financial reports for notes and line of credit
  • Have a basic/intermediate understanding of IT/Computer technology
  • Print out labels and load tags for production
  • Take packages for mailing to FedEx, UPS or Post Office
  • Greet truckers outside and give them instructions on which “bays” to back into for loading and unloading
  • Keep all office supplies stocked and organized

Salary: $18.00 to $19.00 /hour
