Executive Assistant – Beach Space (Tampa)

We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to work directly with the Managing Director of Beach Space. You will anticipate the needs of the Managing Director and proactively gather the right people and resources to solve problems. Our ideal candidate is an individual who runs towards challenges, enjoys navigating ambiguity, and enjoys the dynamic environment of a fast-paced startup.


  • Manage, evaluate, and proactively forecast the daily needs of the Managing Director to ensure they are organized and prepared for internal and external events and meetings.
  • Easily manage email coordination, calendar scheduling, travel, expense reports, and a wide variety of priorities for the Managing Director.
  • Resolve conflicting time demands to ensure a continuous schedule based on business priorities.
  • The project manages a variety of professional and personal initiatives through self-motivation, clear communication, and complete follow-up.
  • Handle confidential information and communications with tact, efficiency, and attention to detail.
  • Assist the chief of staff with ad hoc projects as necessary.
  • Build relationships with the Beach Space team and our broader network.
  • Act as guardian of the Managing Director to ensure that the time spent is aligned with the priorities.
  • Work cross-cutting with all teams (marketing, product, sales, and more) throughout the company and will collaborate to ensure sufficient time management.


  • More than three years as an executive assistant of a C-level executive in a fast-paced environment, with the commitment to grow in an administrative function
  • Five years of relevant work experience
  • Experience predicting operational needs and solving time management problems to ensure objectives are met
  • Exceptional organizational skills, along with impeccable attention to detail
  • Ability to read ambiguous situations appropriately and proactively take the initiative with sound judgment
  • Ability to anticipate continually changing needs and manage competitive priorities
  • A strong sense of urgency with a bias towards action
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write, edit, and correct emails and presentation materials
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning upcoming personnel changes, product development, and non-public information
  • A positive perspective when interacting with all levels of employees, investors, and customers.
