Commercial Real Estate Broker – Equity (Tampa Bay)

We are currently seeking qualified candidates to join our team to assist with new business development. We are considering both junior and season professionals to join our Florida team; offices are located in Orlando, Tampa, Naples and Ft Lauderdale.

The responsibilities include learning the specific geographic markets,handling a large amount of details relating to complex real estate transactions, and managing internal processes. Team members are responsible for prioritizing and executing projects to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

  • Day-to-day responsibilities largely focus on new business generation (cold calling) and account support activities.
  • Develop follow-up materials for prospective clients (lease comparisons, market overviews, and coordinating information delivery with other groups such as Brokerage Assistants, Research and Marketing).
  • Be instrumental in assisting the team with the development and implantation of its strategic business/marketing plan.

EXISTING CLIENT ACCOUNT ACTIVITIES

  • Track and update activity reports for Landlords.
  • Respond to internal and external client requests for data and information.
  • Work with Research to maintain market data and the competitive property analysis.

MANAGE INTERNAL PROCESSES

  • Maintain internal databases (regularly update CRM, Costar, internal information trackers) and update prospects (data entry, activities, account coverage, pull reports, etc.)
  • Ensure that monthly/quarterly processes are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Identify and leverage best practices from the corporate platform.
  • Participate in Brokerage Team Meetings and sales meetings.

EXPERIENCE

  • Real Estate or Finance experience, preferred but not a requirement
  • A background in sales, legal, architecture or construction, helpful.

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

  • Licensed Associate Broker in the State of Florida.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Resourceful self-starter with ability to take the initiative.
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively manage time and workload.
  • Solid written and oral communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • High attention to detail and excellent follow through.
  • A proven track record in commercial real estate is required.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)

COMPENSATION

Equity provides best of industry commission splits and multiple platforms to earn fees.
