Growing General Contractor in NE St. Petersburg is hiring an Administrative Assistant. We are looking for a sharp, ambitious, highly organized, hardworking professional to fill this role. Experience in the construction field is a plus, but not a requirement. The ability to work on several projects simultaneously is a must. The ideal candidate would have experience supporting upper level management in a fast-paced office environment for 2+ years or experience in a support role with a construction company. Local candidates only, please.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordinate ongoing projects with team members, both office and field staff.
  • Demonstrate an ability to independently research onsite issues and problem solve.
  • Gather, prepare, and transmit documentation to architects, designers, and owners for ongoing projects.
  • Submit, track and retrieve submittals, RFI’s, pricing requests and warranty letters as needed.
  • Assist in obtaining pricing for job site related materials.
  • Provide support to existing staff, both in the corporate office and field staff, including Project Managers and Superintendents.
  • Request and qualify lien releases from subcontactors and vendors.
  • Process incoming invoices and input into accounting system for payment.
  • Office administrative duties include creating close out packages at completion of projects, facilitating the resolution of pricing discrepancies, processing mail and other duties as needed.
  • Assist upper management as needed.
