  • The Administrative Assistant provides general secretarial and clerical support for the church office and Pastor. This position reports to the Senior Pastor. Successful candidate will have at least 2 years experience as an administrative assistant. Experience in a church setting is a plus
  • Skills and Qualifications
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters.
  • Demonstrated skill in using personal computers, particularly desktop publishing and word processing. Experience with Microsoft products required, including Publisher.
  • Experience with, and enthusiasm for, social media such as Facebook and Twitter.
  • Excellent typing skills.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a professional and effective manner.
  • Basic knowledge of how the parish operates and ability to grasp quickly how the parish office functions.
  • Experience with coordinating volunteers
  • Ability to relate to a variety of persons.
  • Ability to prioritize work and work independently.
  • Visibly demonstrate a lifestyle and approach that is consistent with Christian discipleship.
